Irresolute

I waited for him to come out, with gun in hand to demand he decide, but the longer he took the more I dithered. What drove me to this is what I kept asking as I slowly caressed the trigger of my revolver with a tenderness I have not placed on anything or anyone.

I love this piece. Thoughtful, tense and deep. A testimony that you don’t need many words to evoke a whole rage of emotions.

Thank you very much Austin, I think the less words you have as an option the more intense they become when we use them.

Thought provoking: it allowed my imagination to take me in so many directions.
    I want more!
